Brunch —St. Williams Fireman will serve up a brunch on Aug. 8 at the St. Williams Community Centre from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children. Everyone welcome.

SPORTS

Golf Tournament — Delhi Volunteer Association Golf Tournament will be held Aug 11 with an 11:30 start. 18 holes for $ 70 including dinner. Great prizes, draws. All proceeds to Norfolk General Hospital & Nursing Home. Contact pacooke@isp.ca.

Shinny Hockey — Shinny ice hockey is available now until Labour Day. Cost is $6 per person on the ice. Ages 5-9: Mondays, 4-5 p.m. Ages 10-14: Wednesdays, 4-5 p.m. Ages 15 and up: Thursdays, 4-5 p.m. This is an opportunity to participate in self-organized non-contact pick-up hockey. Players must wear skates, helmet and gloves. Coaches cannot use this time for instruction or team practices. For info call the Simcoe Rec Centre at 426-8866 ext 2233.

SUMMER CAMP

Theatre Camp — Theatre camp takes place at the Backstage Capitol Theatre over three sessions from July 12 to 23, July 26 to Aug. 6, and Aug. 9 to 20. Workshops in singing, improv, dancing, musical theatre, costume design and more. Classes run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with early and late pick-up also available at an additional cost. Summer reading program — Destination Jungle summer reading program runs through August 20 at Norfolk County Library. Pick up your registration forms and check out all of the fun activities planned this summer at your local library branches. Additional information will be posted at www.ncpl.ca. Please note: The library will be closed on Aug. 2 due to the Civic Holiday.
