Attention parents of children between the ages of 5 and 12. Are you looking for safe and affordable activities for your children this summer?
The Eva Brook Donly Museum & Archives is running its annual Heritage Adventures Day Camp. Running Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm this full-day camp offers a different theme each day! You can sign up your child for one day, or a combination of days, the whole week, or even the whole summer! Fees are $25/day or $100/week; Norfolk Historical Society member rates are $20/day or $85/week. A 10% discount is offered to parents with more than one child in the family they wish to register. Based at the Museum, the camp runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm starting on July 5 until August 27 and includes indoor and outdoor activities, games, sports, songs, crafts and more.
Some of the themes include Friends of the Pharaohs; Under the Big Top; Inventors of the Ages; Dinosaur Dig; Jungle Fever, and War of 1812. Some days include side trips while others include special guests and the creation of special food dishes.
