Backstage Dreams Synopsis: Famed Hollywood movie star and director, Grace Landing, is casting for the starring role in her infamous musical and upcoming movie. Thousands of aspiring stars and starlets have auditioned across Canada and now, Grace's team has narrowed down the search to the top 15, who will be put through their paces, at the Capitol Theatre in Delhi. They all come with big dreams. Friendships, broken hearts, cat-fights, diva melt-downs, heart-throbs and a cornucopia of great movie, pop and show tunes; are all a part of the ensuing musical comedy as they compete against themselves for the chance of a lifetime and learn some very valuable lessons along the way.

The Brantford Cabaret has been touring since 2003; with their infamous production of Sounds of Broadway which has saluted musicals such as the Phantom, Lion King, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Hairspray, Cats, Sound of Music, and their show-stopping GREASE tribute. They have performed in front of thousands of people at the Brantford International Villages Festival, the Paris Fair, the Cobblestone Festival and a variety of community events and fundraisers throughout Southern Ontario. The Brantford Cabaret has welcomed over 60 young people and adults into their organization over the last 6 years and has cultivated several Brantford Idol, St. George Idol, Paris Fair, Burford Fair, Simcoe Fair, Kids Rock, Kiwanis and National Star, Grand Champions.
